A Scandinavian telecom giant has the largest and greenest data center in Finland. A beautiful project that runs entirely on green energy, including self-recycled waste heat. The flagship project is compared with a data center from Google, which uses seawater to cool spaces. Finnish former Minister of Economic Affairs Jan Vapaavuori said in April that he hoped for more of these projects within the borders of Finland.
On behalf of Rittal Finland we opted for 11,000 m2 of installation floor IV 1260; Alteco’s own developed sustainable floor that fully meets the requirements of a realization according to the LEED (Green Building) standards. The project was completed in February 2018.
